SEWING GROUP
Despite the rainy weather, the NDSCS student welcome/pizza night was well received by the students. Volunteers served 160 pizzas (generally two slices/student) so that's a lot of students that enjoyed a time of food, fun, and fellowship. The Hospitality Work Area extends thanks:
·
to those that donated gift cards and/or money to use towards the purchase of $5.00 gift cards for the NDSCS student welcome/pizza night. Evergreen UMC distributed 101 gift cards during the student welcome.
·
to Sam & Jean Hill, Lenora Harrison, Velora Hensley, Marlene Metcalf, and Dianne Millar for assembling the welcome gifts for the students.
·
to Donna Stone, Marlene Metcalf, Velora Hensley, Keven Krueger, Jennifer Faul, and Dianne Millar for donating the pop and/or paper plates.
·
to Pastor Dave Andrews, Jean Hill, Dale & Janice Deike, Velora Hensley, Keven Krueger, and Dianne Millar for volunteering at the student welcome.
Missions Committee

Evergreen Mini-Park Update
.......
The painting and other assorted projects at the Evergreen Mini-Park have essentially been completed. The playground surface needs to be completed; however, the Wahpeton Parks and Recreation staff will be coordinating those arrangements. When they are ready to level the pearock, Wayne Beyer indicated that he may give us a call to request some volunteers. Again, thanks to Pastor Paul Baker, Marlin Galde, Carmen Plummer, Karen Kalinowski, Hanna Bigham, and Wayne and Dianne Millar for their help.
