Pastor Jenny began her ministry at Evergreen United Methodist Church in July of 2011 and she can’t wait to see what God will do here in the days, months, and years to come! Jenny grew-up in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, parents Mark and Nancy and younger sister Christy. Jenny graduated from Augustana College in 2000 with a degree in Vocal Music Education and, after college graduation, she headed to Evanston, Illinois, to attend Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary. After seminary graduation in May of 2003, Jenny began her full-time pastoral ministry in the Dakotas.
Jenny's first pastoral appointment was to the United Methodist churches of Alexandria and Ethan, South Dakota. After three years in Alex and Ethan, Jenny was appointed to serve as the associate pastor at First United Methodist Church in Pierre, SD; she served there for five years before becoming a North Dakotan. Pastor Jenny has a fantastic Goldendoodle (Gunnar) and a one-eyed cat (Peepers).
Julie has been the Administrative Secretary at Evergreen since 1982. She and her husband Tom have two married daughters, Danielle and Kristina, and have three very special grandsons; she is a native of Wahpeton, ND.
Jerry has served as church organist for thirty-four years, and sung in the choir for thirty-seven years. Has been Assistant Financial Secratary for over 20 years, and in recent years, has enjoyed working in the church library. "Evergreen Church has played a major part in my life over the past thirty-seven years."
Our Christian Education Coordinator is Mary Wolfgram. Mary has been a member of Evergreen since 2003, before that was a member at Valley CIty UMC. Mary started as Christian Education Coordinator in August of 2006. She also works at the ND State College of Science. Her husband is Bryan, and they have three children, Meaghan, Dylan, and Brody.
Jan is one-half of the "Cleaning Ladies". She is a member of Evergreen and also a member of the choir, teaches the High School Sunday School class and is an active member of the Mission Committee. She resides in Wahpeton with her husband Tom and has 2 daughters, Anna and McKayla.
Sherri is the other half of the "Cleaning Ladies". She is a member of Evergreen and also is active in the choir and Mission Committee. She resides in Breckenridge with her husband Marston. She has four children, Dean (Elisa), Ryan, Cody and Aly as well as 2 grandchildren, Isabelle and Brayden.
